What this site is
Zero Trace Hub publishes plain-English explanations of privacy tools (Tor, Tails, Whonix, Qubes, PGP), the dark web as a network, and a vetted directory of darknet markets that exist as part of that ecosystem. Our goal is to help adults — journalists, activists, researchers, security students, and the privacy-curious — understand the technical context before they step into it.
What this site is not
We don't sell, broker, host, or facilitate purchases on any third party platform. We don't run a market. We don't accept payments from listed markets, vendors, or affiliates. The directory exists to document and contextualise — not to recommend you transact on any of it.
Nothing on Zero Trace Hub is legal, financial, or operational-security advice. Threat models are personal. The specific legality of using Tor, accessing onion services, running Tails, holding cryptocurrency, or interacting with any listed market depends on your jurisdiction and your own conduct.
About the markets directory
Listings under /markets/include status, established date, supported coins, escrow model, and (where published) the market's PGP fingerprint. We mark listings as active, down, suspected-scam, or discontinued. None of these labels are guarantees. Darknet markets exit-scam, get seized, get phished, get cloned. A listing on this site is not an endorsement.
If you choose to research a market further, always verify mirror URLs using the published PGP signature, never reuse identities or passwords across surfaces, and read our threat-modeling guide and how we vet markets first.
